Job Brief

We are seeking a vigilant, attentive Mall Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our shopping center.

The Mall Security Officer will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.

A Mall Security Officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Routine safety equipment checks
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Qualifications

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills

• Work Environment: Indoor and outdoor mall environment. Must be able to work in various weather conditions if required.
• Reporting Structure: Reports to the Security Manager.
• Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications

2nd Shift Full Time: Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 11am-930pm/10am-830p

3rd Shift Full Time: Sunday 7pm-5am, Monday-Wednesday 11pm-9am
